I believe that within a strong, collaborative relationship, problem-focused therapeutic goals can be reached in a timely manner. I see children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of presenting problems, including: anxiety, depression, inattention and distractibility, relational difficulties, and the complicated interaction between managing a chronic medical condition and maintaining psychological well being.

I am a proponent of researched based, yet psychodynamically informed, psychotherapy. This means that we may explore the past a bit, in order to discover what is blocking the ability to acquire or integrate newly learned coping skills here and now.

ADHD, LD, Autism Spectrum, & More

I help parents, kids, adolescents, and young adults figure out what underlying issues may be causing them problems. I do this through providing evaluations for ADHD, LD, Autism Spectrum, and Personality or Psychological assessments.

Testing & Accomodations

20-years of experience has taught me to stay up on current psychotherapy and assessment best practices and techniques. I provide assessments, consultations, individual, and family therapy. I can collaborate with other providers and with schools. I help my clients obtain any needed accommodations from elementary school to college, and even at work.
