here's how THE SELF-THRIVING program works
STEP 1: TAKE THE SELF-THRIVING INDEX
The Self-Thriving Index is a 39-question assessment that measures how you're doing on all 18 Outlooks:
OPTIMISM, INTERNAL LOCUS OF CONTROL, SELF-EFFICACY, SELF-FORGIVENESS, OTHER-FORGIVENESS, EMOTIONAL AWARENESS, RESILIENCE, PERSEVERANCE, BENEFIT FINDING, FUTURE FOCUS, MEANING, PROACTIVITY, STRIVING, AMBITION, ASSERTIVENESS, INNOVATIVENESS, PROBLEM-SOLVING, LEARNING.
STEP 2: GET YOUR SELF-THRIVING REPORT
Within a few a minutes of completing the Self-Thriving Index, you receive a 29-page personal Self-Thriving Report that details how you're doing on each of the 18 Outlooks.
The Self-Thriving Report pinpoints which of the 18 Outlooks are your strengths and which ones offer the biggest opportunities for improvement. The report also tells you which of the 18 Outlooks you should work on first (based on your personal scores).
STEP 3: START THE SKILLS-BUILDING COURSES
There are 18 skills-building courses, ranging from 12-26 minutes, covering each of the 18 Outlooks. Each course delivers hyper-specific techniques and exercises to strengthen each of the 18 Outlooks.
These skills-building courses take you step-by-step through the research-backed exercises you need to build up your psychological muscles to increase your Optimism, Resilience, Emotional Awareness and more.
STEP 4: PROGRESS THROUGH ALL 18 COURSES
After you start with your highest-priority courses, you then continue through the entire curriculum. All of the 18 Outlooks have been shown to increase your positive feelings at work and in life, so it's a good idea to work through all of them.
It's recommended to work on about one outlook per month. Some people move a bit faster, while others may move more slowly. As long as you give sufficient time and energy to practicing the exercises and techniques, you can move at the pace that's right for you.
