Attitude accounts for 89% of hiring failures. So how do you assess candidates’ attitude (including their coachability, emotional intelligence, motivation and temperament)? AND HOW DO YOU HIRE FOR ATTITUDE WHEN CANDIDATES ARE REMOTE?
Most companies & interviewers are not prepared for this new world of hiring! So based on the bestselling book featured in Forbes, Fast Company & CNBC, Hiring for Attitude will show you the cutting-edge hiring practices that reveal if candidates have the right attitude to fit your culture. We literally invented the concept of Hiring for Attitude, and on this webinar you'll learn our advanced techniques for putting this into action!
From mastering video interviews to using attitudinal screening questions to assessing candidates' language to reveal their attitude, you'll learn all the necessary techniques to select the best candidates even when you can't see them face-to-face!
This 60-minute webinar called “Hiring for Attitude Remotely” will show you:
- The script to use when starting video interviews to immediately relax candidates and get them to share openly (to reveal their true attitudes)
- The best-performing phone screening questions to help you assess whether you should move candidates to the next phase (and invest time in further interviews)
- The 5-part interview question that reveals if people are “coachable” (and that famously asks candidates to spell the last name of their previous boss)
- 1 interview question that tests whether candidates can handle working remotely
- 6 words that ruin behavioral interview questions when you’re trying to hire for attitude
- How to avoid giving candidates the 'right' answer to interview questions during video interviews
- 2 quick tests to discover the attitudinal characteristics that your organization MUST include in interviews
- Why you should never ask “tell me about yourself” or “what are your strengths/weaknesses”
- Why most hiring managers ask way too many questions, forcing candidates to give very fast and superficial answers (and learn how many questions you SHOULD ask when candidates are REMOTE)
- How to assess attitude when you’re conducting team interviews
- New textual science that shows you how candidates’ pronouns, verb tenses, and adverbs reveal if they’re a high or low performer

I was fortunate enough to participate a four part Leadership IQ e-Learning series presented by Mark Murphy that helped enhance my leadership skills. Each class was informative, pertinent, and helpful to my position at the Firm. I found this course, “The Science of Managing Remote Employees”, equally beneficial. The material is presented in a format that is logical and easy to understand, and more importantly relevant to today’s work environment. The information is backed up with reputable research and examples you can relate to in real life. I look forward to more Leadership IQ e-Learning classes in the future.

Dealing with Bullies and Intimidators was a great session. I was anxious to attend as I work with and for some toxic people. This program has now provided me with the tools to avoid being their target, identify warning signs, and becoming assertive and in some instances protective of myself. I normally would submit for reimbursement for classes but I am treating this as a therapy session and it was well worth the price. I will review all the information until it becomes a natural response for me. It will also be a great reference point for further conversations with both my staff (who are awesome) as well as my colleagues and my superiors with whom some of the struggles come. Thanks for all the insight!
