Let’s Talk, One HR Fan to Another.

A short call with Mark Murphy. No pitch, no strings attached.

I’m the founder of Leadership IQ, and I’ve spent the past two decades helping HR leaders solve the problems that keep landing on their desk: managers who need to lead better, engagement and culture surveys that need to change something, and executives who need to take the people side of the business seriously. Pick a time below and we’ll talk through whatever’s on your desk. You’ll usually leave with a clearer read on the problem and a next step you can act on.

Who You’ll Be Talking To

A Little About Me

I founded Leadership IQ, a research-based leadership training company, and I still run it. Over the past two decades my team and I have studied more than a million leaders and employees, and HR teams tend to know us from that research: why new hires fail, why engagement surveys don’t change anything, why managers avoid giving feedback. That data is what I bring to these conversations instead of platitudes.

I’ve written seven leadership books, including the New York Times bestseller Hundred Percenters and Hiring for Attitude, and my Forbes articles have been read more than nine million times. Day to day, I work with HR leaders on the problems that tend to land on HR’s desk: managers who were promoted for being good at the job and not for leading people, engagement and culture surveys that produce a report but not a change, and a C-suite that wants to see the business case before it funds the fix. I care about this stuff as much as you do, which is usually why these calls run long.
