When we talk about developing great communication skills, you know that when giving a presentation, or a speech, or a “rah rah” rousing the troops, get folks all fired up kind of talk, you have a choice in terms of how you speak.

The results of this study suggest that approximately 32% of a worker’s desire to stay or go is the result of feeling (or not feeling) trust towards their boss.While trust is a significant driver of employee loyalty, there’s still room to improve the overall levels of trust in today’s organizations. Only 20% of people strongly trust the top management of their organization. 36% moderately trust their top management, while the remaining 44% range from not trusting to strongly distrusting their top management.

Well, there are troubling signs that, in fact, the world is currently suffering from a major deficit of empathy; that we’re losing (or have lost) the ability and willingness to truly empathize with others. And that’s why this test of empathy is so important!
